Aneta Barnaś - Professional Dog Grooming Services in Fife

From a young age, I have been passionate about dogs and their care. That interest led me to dog grooming and to practical training completed in 2024. I continue to build my knowledge through hands-on work, training sessions, and workshops focused on grooming techniques and the care of different coat types.

In December 2024, I opened Dog Paradise, my independent salon at Greenmyre Farm in Dunshalt, Fife. I provide bathing, drying, brushing, coat trimming and styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, deshedding, and puppy introduction sessions. I discuss the service directly with each owner because coat condition, age, size, temperament, and the desired finish can change what is suitable.

My aim is to help each dog feel as comfortable and safe as possible during grooming. Before a first appointment, I ask about previous grooming experiences, handling concerns, skin sensitivity, health conditions, and anything the dog finds difficult. This information helps me plan a calmer visit and explain what is realistic for the coat.

I especially value a patient introduction for puppies and honest preparation for nervous dogs. A first visit does not need to force every possible service into one session. If a dog is worried, I would rather understand the trigger, work at an appropriate pace, and discuss the next step with the owner. Grooming is not veterinary care, so I ask owners to speak to their vet when soreness, infection, illness, or another medical concern could affect safe handling.

Before the groom begins, I also discuss the finish the owner hopes for and what the coat can support comfortably. Severe matting, compacted undercoat, fragile skin, or limited mobility can change the safest plan. I explain those limits rather than promising the same result for every dog. After the appointment, I can suggest a practical home-care routine and a future interval based on the coat I have actually seen.

At home, I care for two adopted dogs, Max and Bella. Living with them reinforces how much patience, routine, and clear handling matter when a dog is uncertain in a new environment.

The salon offers full grooms, bath and brush appointments, deshedding, nail and basic external ear care, and introductory sessions for puppies. Prices are quoted individually because size, coat type, condition, the requested finish, and the time needed for safe handling can all affect the appointment. I confirm the service and quote directly before the visit.
